Books I've Read for Zero Project

1. Look Me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger's by John Elder Robison
This book was interesting but not an easy read for me. It wasn't difficult in the writing style or language used...it just wasn't a book I looked forward to reading. I liked Robison's writing style and loved his story but there was something about it that was hard for me to get through. I think it was the fact that the storyline was kind of all over the place and not very sequential. A great story from an intelligent man.

2. Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James
So I don't get into the hype of popular anything. I am the last to know about new movies, TV shows, and books. So when I heard a couple of people talk about how good the E L James books are I was skeptical...but I thought it wouldn't hurt to read them. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into. I started reading this book and really enjoyed the characters but wasn't sure about the storyline. I was told that the second and third books were better and easier to read. So I kept reading and finished this book and started the next one.

3. Fifty Shades Darker by E L James
This book was even better than I expected...I didn't love the first book but I fell in love with the characters, the story, and James' writing style. I read the entire book today. Yes...today. I'll be starting the next one tomorrow.

4. Fifty Shades Freed by E L James
This was the last book in the trilogy and I'm glad I read them. All three books turned out to be better than I had expected but different at the same time. If this author writes any other books I will definitely be reading them.

5. Look Again by Lisa Scottoline
This book was pretty good. It definitely kept me wanting to read to find out what might happen next but it in no way compared to the Fifty Shades Trilogy. I recently watched an episode of Hardcover Mysteries and this author was featured on the show. I think I'll read some of the other books she has written.

6. To The Moon and Back by Jill Mansell
This was a cute book...and the cover of the book is cute. You know the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"....I always do and this one didn't disappoint.  She has written tons of books and I'm thinking I'll read some more of her stuff.
